AB3 Entertainment is led by a group of individuals whose collective experience spans music, culture, leadership, and live performance. Together, they bring depth, integrity, and intention to every moment AB3 is trusted to shape through sound.
Founded by Al Brisbane and Yolonda Brisbane, AB3 Entertainment is rooted in family, collaboration, and a shared belief in the power of live music. They are joined by their cousin, Olympic legend Bob Beamon, who serves as Lead Percussionist and Global Ambassador, and by Emmy Award–winning actor and cultural leader Obba Babatundé, who serves as Global Ambassador.
Al Brisbane is a bassist, bandleader, and musical architect whose sound is rooted in deep groove, intuition, and purpose. Self-taught and guided by ear, he developed a genre-spanning style that moves effortlessly through jazz, funk, R&B, gospel, hip hop, and world music.
For more than 25 years, Al has performed internationally, including appearances at Carnegie Hall, the U.S. Open, and the Olympia Theatre in Paris. He has shared the stage with Frankie Beverly & Maze, Charlie Wilson, Ashford & Simpson, Earth, Wind & Fire, Stevie Wonder, Kirk Whalum, and Ibrahim Maalouf.
Through AB3’s signature band, Elixir, Al shapes live performances that are precise, soulful, and deeply connected.
"At AB3, people experience the Three E’s—Excellence, Execution, and an Experience they never forget." - Al Brisbane
Bob Beamon is an Olympic legend, cultural icon, and lifelong lover of music whose influence transcends sport. Born and raised in South Jamaica, Queens, he developed an early ear for sound and built one of the world’s most extraordinary personal music collections, now exceeding 15,000 albums.
At the 1968 Olympic Games, Bob achieved one of the most extraordinary feats in sports history—a long jump of 29 feet, 2½ inches (8.90 meters). That mark remains the longest-standing Olympic record of all time and will reach its 60th anniversary at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games (LA28).
As a percussionist, Bob has performed with Stix Bones and the B.O.N.E. Squad, Hootie & the Blowfish, Ibrahim Maalouf, and AB3’s signature band, Elixir. In 2024, he appeared with Al Brisbane and Ibrahim Maalouf at the Olympia Theatre in Paris.
The impact of Bob’s Olympic achievement was so profound that Merriam-Webster coined the word “Beamonesque” in his honor—the only athlete to be recognized in this way. At AB3 Entertainment, Bob brings that same standard of excellence, focus, and possibility to every collaboration.
